Amazingly, given the preceding night of rain, and a morning of persistent drizzle, Malvern Wells Village Fete and Classic Car Show took place on Sunday 8 September with only a few light showers to interrupt the proceedings. Robert and I ran the usual publicity stand, chatting to visitors and answering queries about researching family history. With Malvern Chase Brass Band, Worcester Ukulele Club, a dog show and the usual fund-raising stalls and food and drink stalls, it was a well-attended afternoon and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
