Malvern Family History Society was formed in 1996 by a group of enthusiasts who were researching their family trees.

This was presented to two of the founder members in 2018 who have spent many years serving on the committee in key roles:
- Frank Townsend as Chairman
- Vanessa Foy as Projects Leader responsible for the Baptism Project
They are being present with certificates by Michael Speed, the chairman at the time.
