Robert, Karen, Paul and I spent Saturday 13 September at Turnberries Community Centre in Thornbury, near Bristol, taking part in the family and local history fair organised by Bristol and Avon Family History Society. Numerous other societies were represented there so there was plenty to look at and many interesting people to talk to. This year marks the 50th anniversary of BAFHS.
