Art History
7 February @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Speaker: Jasmine Kee
This is something slightly different from our normal talks, which we hope you will enjoy. Jasmine will give a talk on art history in general, covering the different styles, movements and time-periods associated with painting, drawing and sculpture. She will also explore J M W Turner’s connection to Worcestershire and Paul Nash’s landscapes of the Malvern hills.
Jasmine is an archivist at The Hive. She has 7 years’ experience working with customers across the Museum and Gallery sector. Passionate about art and history she previously worked at Tate and as a Curatorial Assistant at Central Saint Martins’ Museum & Study Collection in London – first working in their archives as a volunteer while studying History of Art. In 2019, she gained a master’s degree in Curating and Collections from Chelsea College of Arts.
This talk will be preceded by a ten-minute talk on Wills after 1858 given by Paul Millington.
At the Eden Centre and online.
