The Family History Show Midlands was held at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, on Saturday 15 March. Various family history related societies attended including us. A programme of free talks ran all day and visitors could browse the society and company stands and book an appointment to receive one-to-one expert advice. As usual, people came up to us to talk about their Malvern connections, ask questions and buy books and magazines. Next year’s Midlands show will also be at the Three Counties.
These shows are organised by Discover Your Ancestors magazine and the headline sponsor is TheGenealogist website. Two further shows take place this year: Liverpool at Aintree Racecourse on 3 May and London at Kempton Park Racecourse on 4 October.
