Sunday 22 June, Priory Park, Malvern
Jan Condon, Chris Cashmore, Karen Hill and I were in Priory Park for the second annual Malvern Community Celebration Day, along with more than 40 other stalls and numerous performers. There was a dog show, Morris Dancers, and live music to go with the ice creams, burgers and various drinks. We had a steady flow of visitors, more when it rained, but we remained dry in our gazebo.
We shared our family history experiences with visitors to the stand, listened to some tales of difficulties, and offered sage advice and suggestions. We explained what we did, handed out some useful website addresses and business cards and encouraged people to look at our website and come to our meetings.
