Worcestershire World War 100

Worcestershire World War 100

Please find on the link below the latest events programme for Worcestershire World War 100 Heritage Lottery Fund project. Worcestershire World War 100 is one of the largest commemorative programmes for WWI outside London and aims to commemorate the role Worcestershire played in the Great War and tell the stories of the people of Worcestershire, their involvement and the personal legacy from the war.

The Peoples Collection – your area’s opportunity to get involved!

Residents of Worcestershire are invited to be part of the project through sharing their own family photographs, diaries, letters and artefacts from WWI for inclusion in the Peoples Collection exhibition in 2018. This travelling exhibition will visit location across the districts of Worcestershire and is a unique opportunity for the community to share its contribution to the war effort.
