The Museum of Carpet in Kidderminster have organised a tour of their archive on 25th of January
What you see in our galleries is only a snapshot of their wider collection. The historic collection holds all manner of items from carpet designs to personal diaries to machinery that tell us lots about the history of the carpet industry and Kidderminster. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the treasures held within the collection and to gain an insight into the past world of carpet production.
The tour is happening on Tuesday 25th January 2022, 10.30am – midday at a cost of £10 per person.
The event will include:
- A general introduction to our collection of fascinating objects,
- A chance to look at some beautiful carpet designs
- A tour of the archive.
- Free entry to the Museum on the day is included in the ticket price.
