These families have owned Madresfield Court\, near Malvern\, since the early Middle Ages. \nMarguerite Collins a Worcester Walks Guide and knows the city well.  Although born in Malvern (10 miles from Worcester)\, Marguerite has spent most of her life in the city of Worcester. She has always been fascinated by the history of the area. DESCRIPTION:Penny Walters has taught Psychology to university students for many years. She has carried out extensive research into her own origins from adoption to her Irish roots. She has used DNA to confirm her origins and to explore the cultural heritage of her mixed- race children. Penny has a postgraduate qualification in genealogy from Strathclyde University. She will be appearing in C4’s Genealogy Roadshow. \nEthical dilemmas in genealogy is the title of her book published last year and the subject of her presentation to us. Her paper will be available from the Members Area of our website. DESCRIPTION:St Fagans is an open-air heritage attraction near Cardiff which has a variety of buildings on display from around Wales. People can visit buildings including a woollen mill\, ironworkers’ cottages\, a Victorian country school and an Anderson air raid shelter\, as well as watching blacksmiths\, bakers and clog-makers demonstrate traditional skills.
