Susan Payne, a member of MFHS who lives in Lincolnshire, has this postcard of Lower Howsell Road in Malvern sent by her great-grandmother. She wrote to us asking if anyone can identify the people in the postcard.

The message on the back is from my great-grandmother to Walter, one of her 5 sons, who was a plate-layer working in London at the time.
The Marsden family lived at Pound Cottage just over the railway line (demolished in 1966 I believe and replaced with a bungalow). My great-grandfather was a stoker at the gas works and, sadly, met an untimely death there after an accident 2 years after this postcard.
The thatched cottage in the photo is (I think) next to Crispin Drive. I have only seen it on google maps though. Elms Farm must be behind.
I have a lot of family photographs and postcards (including early 20th cent Bretforton), but I cannot see anyone from my family in the photo, though I may just not be aware of them. It would be fabulous if any members do find their family on the photo.
If you do recognise anyone, please get in touch with us and we can pass the message on.
